I don’t think I ever listened to him.
I actually don’t listen to much these days.
I don’t even own a stereo.
I quit exploring new music years ago. I’m just way past burned out. I hit 30 yrs and wanted out 15 yrs ago. Then corporate stuff choked me with money and that kept me in the last 15 yrs (45yrs), it just became a paycheck. I no longer have that level of drive. Been there, done that, have all the t-shirts. “ All yours now, run with it”

Its gotta be serious skill to catch my ear and time. I don’t desire to “listen” anymore. I’m seriously enjoying silence. Only thing I mix since Feb 4th is videos I attempt to make to kill time.

This is where the job burnout ruins a hobby. And significant losses probably played a role. Its just not important to me anymore. Its a plastic factory.

So ya, I’m ignorant to him/them. No clue. I’m good with that.

Watched the rock and roll hall of fame show last night..

Didn't understand putting hip hop "artists" into it..seemed some were understandably upset with this nomination taking decades while others with much less success getting in before them..

Made a joke out of entire thing imo

Eagler

It's 2025. Public Enemy is in and Boston isn't.   The RRHOF has been a joke for a long long time.

HA! good old stuffff
Music is like a scent, within 250ms it's sparks an exact memory deeply buried under the layers. Triggers. They can happen within the first 3-4 notes.
Many times I listen just to go back to the days and what I was doing then.

This reminds me of the 80s doing indoor pyro for concerts, for whateva reason. Someone was probably playing it while we worked.
