EAGLES

No other band has reached the level of burnout I have than the Eagles.  I mean nothing is even close.  I hate that, because they were so good.  ALL the local "Classic Rock" playlists around over, and over, and over...  I've cringed so hard at that first strum of Hotel California I almost crashed my truck.

Too bad..lol

Compared it to most trash on rock stations these days I take the eagles over any of them..

Hotel California is the wife and my song since we've been together since 1976 and enjoy it everytime it's played..  :old:

Ha!, totally get that.

By the time Zepplin, Sabbath and Deep Purple (several others) FINALLY made it to radio I was burned out on em.Then radio played em until I threw up, then I never wanted to hear them. Radio caused burn out with any hit.

I musta lost my mind, again

I thought Zepplin was a good vid, Zepplin was questionable live, they finally played it super well at ancient age. Thought plant lost his voice during solo stuff. It was still poppin.

They are my desert island band.  A band I can listen to all the time and not get bored because their music progressed throughout the years. HOWEVER, I do agree about the radio.  It's the same 3-4 songs over and over. I heard Witchy Woman the other damn on FM radio and was pleasantly surprised.  As overplayed as they are, I still find joy in their songs...which is more than I can say for any other band.

Ha! Thats funny.

Used to work under another sound guy when he was mixing FOH. Every single time he tested the system was the same old Eagles album. The after test he’d just let it loop. I choked him to death in my head every time. Musta killed him 50 times.

This tune just fit the mentality here.
