Has Anyone Ever Changed Their Mind..

Based on discussions in this forum?

I know that I have become much more interested in becoming a gun owner. Anyone else... on any topic?

Yes I changed my mind.  I used to think all homosexuals were evil, but the FDPs have taught me that they aren't all bad.

Yes, the FDB's convinced me that I really like streaming porn.
Of course, I only see what he posts here and what he does in the MA.  I know virtually nothing about the man.  I think its important for people to realize that we don't really know squat about each other.... definately not enough to use words like "hate".

Yes- I use to think Russians weren't brainwashed to the point their brains turned to mush.

Then Boroda and Eaglecz started posting.

I thought it was a dirty game in the past, now I am convinced it has become so dirty, things are only going to get worse.

Staying on topic, I was never a gun owner, nor am I a fan of guns. Imagine that, a conservative that does not like guns!

Anyway, one night at 2am, my house alarm went off. Upstairs was myself, my wife, and my 2 year old daughter. (No one else lives in the house).

I spent 4 minutes trying to barrel load a .22 that my grandfather left me. In this time, we could have all been dead.

The next day, I went to the gunsmith, traded in the.22 and bought a pistol grip, pump action 20 gauge. (The guy said it's the thing to own for home defence)

So now, I can load this thing and have the trigger lock off in 30 seconds.

If this happens again, I will simply load the gun, have my wife call the police, and wait at the top of the stairs. If you come up the stairs, and your not a cop, I'm giving a warning. If you still continue, I'm going to fire.

I hope I never ever have to do this, but there is no way anyone is getting to my family without killing me first.

To this date, I've never actually even fired this gun, even on a range.

I hope this helps.

I still like Frenchy. I like Straffo. I really hate that French bar tender w/the stick up his bellybutton I met while on some island... Martinique(SP?) that got all huffy cause I didnt know the exchange rate for the Euro.

I still like french fries... and french porn is good as long as the chicks are shaved.

I misunderstood.

Sorry for the edit.

The gunsmith said the 20 gauge was a good gun for home defense, as it wont penetrate a wall...like the 30/30 I also traded in.

Why would firing the gun help avoid a friendly fire incident.

OT:  Muckmaw, if you have a trigger guard you can go ahead and load the shotgun, it can't be fired.  Save some time when you need it.

BTW, the pistolgrip was not necessary, any hunting shotgun would be just as good and probably cheaper.  Some shooting clubs won't let you use their facilities if you have a home defense weapon, but they will with a hunting shotgun.

I liked Frenchy wanting to fight me before all this war mess because "I hide behind a monitor".

It still seems laughable, but somehow lost the personal aspect of his rage.
