We're all (by which I mean the silent majority) fed up with the MA as it currently stands. I know I am. I have tried to bring about initiatives like an RPS - but nooooooooo...... Doofus-Dweebius wants to fly his ride all the time. DD's brother repeatedly tells us that it's his $14.95 an hour, and he'll fly as he sees fit. I've whined about the LA7, and how it is flown almost by default by many dweebs....

So some traits of the game which have been so annoying in the past should disappear. These include

Fly-till-u-die vulch crap.
Suicide runs to the CV.
Opportunist LA7 goon hunters.
Tiffie smashdown raids, in which guys re-up after suiciding.
Lone wolf cherry pickers – doh! I’ll have to change my ways  
Rapid Response LA7 units, who turn up in response to the flashing map, causing me to drop my ord before killing them – highly annoying.

So while you might not have been the originator of the threads, you clearly advocate ideas that limit what other can fly and even in one case (the 2nd example above) even try to limit how others play.  Granted, the last point (the one about the Rapid Responce La7 force) was in jest but those other points are the ones you wish could be somehow eliminated before HT decided to make the new Mission Theater arena into AH2.

My thread was mere speculation and debate - nothing more. Later on, when I saw the level of opposition to it, I said

Oh, well **** the RPS then. It was just a suggestion. I thought more people were tired of being gangbanged by uberplanes but it seems I was wrong. I would have thought that more people would have liked AH to be a little more like WW2, but as has been pointed out to me in other threads, AH has got bugger-all to do with the real WW2, and vice-versa.

If we allowed the N1K only for those guys on the 2 week trial, then assuming they subscribed to the payment plan, they would be forced to step up to a real man's plane instead of dweebing around in one with training wheels.

I realise that not everyone will appreciate this suggestion. One third will hate it, one third will love it, and one third will be indifferent. But at least that means that two thirds wont hate it.

I was reading a post in here recently, and Ripsnort made the point that planes like LA7/N1K needed to be included in the plane set so that beginners would stand a chance. The trouble with the N1K and LA7 presence is that experienced pilots sometimes use them to have the best chance of survival. hmmm...how bout...if ya are in top 1000 fighter/attack..cant GET an La7?..would have to be BOTH categories...lest ya just score the run as attack--of course...if ya NEVER fly buffs or tanks...ya would always be above 1000 anyhow
