He's been around waaay longer then joke has anyhow.
Edit: So you know I was in a squad with helius for few years back when I was a bishop - now a rook I still have respect for him

I've been the victim of 3 chat suspensions. All of which were bogus. the last two were overturned by HTC and I never brought it to the boards. Bringing it here only pisses off the folks that would be there to help you.
My suggestion, delete your post and email support@hitechcreations.com.
It's a shame some that play this game have NO PROBLEMS dishing it out and hide behind a .report. I wish squads would start getting banned for doing this.

If Joker2 and his "squad" did cause the mute ... then HT has the logs.
Rather than bring it here, it probably would have been better to email HTC explaining what happened ... they could then go back thru the text logs to see what really transpired, and if he and his "squad" were in the wrong ... I would think that they would get a talking to by someone at HTC.
In the 6+ years that I have been playing this game, it never ceases to amaze me the seriousness that some people bring to this game.

I really think they should put some sort of a reveiw on these ".REPORT"s" so that there is no auto mute, let HTC look at each event and deal out a punishment to either the reported or the unfair reporters, that would put this all to an end.

no i totally agree with u helius. that squeaker squad is abusing the .report command getting ppl muted and its gotta stop. i'm sick of the squeakers starting crap then using that .report command to get ppl muted. something needs to be done. i witnessed the whole thing helius, and there was others on channel with me that did also. its getting to be disturbing that all these unguided kids are getting away with all their crap.

Speaking of spies a player..who will remain nameless announced over country ch. that there was a "jokers jokers" mission launching in 2min from A## to A##. I asked how he knew if it hadnt launched yet, he said he had his squad on the other country tell him. And no it was not helius, the mission leader knows who it is. I found out the squeekers squad ch and tuned it to see if they were really giving away mission details to 1 another from differnt countries. As soon as I tuned they all flipped out and said they were all gona .report me for "spying on them".
vox ch 269 is the offical squeeker command ch.

And yes i did report betty because what she said to me was highly offensive. ill not go into detail but she made a comment about my mom that was uncalled for and inappropriate considering ive not seen or been able to talk to her since i was two. With Helius i had nothing to do with it, i just happened to be on range when when the conflict happened between you and joker2.

The dot report command is way overused. Almost 100% of the people that use it are sackless hypocrites. I'll never use it. I sometimes say things on 200 that are out of line. I would never stoop to such depths of nadless behavior as to report another when I myself have been guilty of similar transgressions. You turds coordinating the dot report command as a means of lashing out at another player need to go. Eunichs, every last one of you.

No actually, you reported somebody because you had no further insults to sling right back at them. Chances are you've been playing only as long as your forum account has been around. What you and the jokers did was very immature. Fact is, I'd rather not fly with any of you after that and go to a different country than stay bishop with your crud.

I thought people only said the knights sucked. Now I feel less tormented and maybe the funny voices in my head will go away. Or maybe I should just log and stop sleeping with my headphones on. I hear ya, it's not right for a group of players to impinge upon another's enjoyment of the game maliciously. This is a slippery slope. I remember in the old days if "payback" had to be had, it usually consisted of the offended party switching countries to hang on the other guy's 6 for a few minutes "check sixing" them to death. That usually settled the scores.
I'm sure HT will sort out, no one at HTC wants a bunch of unruly kids (or adults) taking over their magnificent game and ruining it for others.

i'm not sure, but I think pirates say arrrrrrrG. notice the G, it is more grough and intimidating. some variants also add a h, pronounced arrrrrgh. however, this is usually used as a form of agreement with another person, if you disagree after the arrrrrg, then you might have to arm yourself. However, maybe some massachusetts might say "how arrrrr you doing." which doesn't necessarily mean they are a pirate (they could be), but just they have that wicked accent :)

This is just my personal opinion, but the moral of the story is this...

The .report tool is to be used for taking care of "over the top" situations, when it appears there's no authority in the arena to moderate it. Or really, anytime that behavior is seen by individuals (not, "hey squad, let's all do a .report on so-n-so". Definately profanity, explicit sexual language, racism...That sort of thing. Not for suspected "spying". Not for simple non-profane smack talk.
Again, just my opinion.

ok guys, i need a place to post the film of our fights. warning. film contains some swearing ;)
anyways, its prolly a good thing that i DA'd davey, he and i sat in the tower for few mins and talked along with talking over vox during the fights, davey had thought i personally made a comment to hurt vandetta aka vanscrew. as i informed him that i have NO clue about anything that is going on in van's life and i personally could care less cuz everyone has their own personal crap to deal with on a daily basis does NOT mean they can bring it in the game. if van has some ghosts in his life he needs to deal with it outside the game. i think some of the convo was caught on the film of the fights. davey has realized that he does take stuff to serious and i had informed him that if he has infact been playin as long as he says then he would know by now that i talk smack just like everyone in the game, thats what makes the AH world go round, but NEVER take me serious, yes i talk about ACM's, ONLY cuz i hate people that go for the HO and thats it. they dont take the time to learn their acm's and dont realize how much more fun the fights will be if they dont go for the HO everytime they engage in a fight. i think and hope that davey will now totally have a new out look on the game in general. there was alot of misunderstandings and alot of assumptions being made that should have been cleared up long before this. this being said i'm done with this post i just need a place to upload the films of the fights. any suggestions?

We have fought on a SEPARATE occasion 109g2 vs 38 and it was a very good fight until a squadie came in. That's what I remember.
We have fought before at TT couple of times but it always ends up one of us getting ganged by someone else.

Every squad goes through a time where they think they matter and that their #*^$ doesn't stink. I guess it's part of the growing pains of learning the game.
I've long been of the opinion that a squad doesn't really become a squad until the people involved understand that none of this matters. All the trash talk, the 'we're more skilled' then the next guy chest thumping, the need to defend everything they do, as if anyone cares, bit, just shows the newness to me. But it's all part of the growing pains of any squad I guess.
You guys will come around and those that stick will figure out that it's just some folks who enjoy each other's company, sitting at their computers, pretending to be cartoon pilots and having fun :)

Every squad goes through a time where they think they matter and that their #*^$ doesn't stink. I guess it's part of the growing pains of learning the game.
I've long been of the opinion that a squad doesn't really become a squad until the people involved understand that none of this matters. All the trash talk, the 'we're more skilled' then the next guy chest thumping, the need to defend everything they do, as if anyone cares, bit, just shows the newness to me. But it's all part of the growing pains of any squad I guess.
You guys will come around and those that stick will figure out that it's just some folks who enjoy each other's company, sitting at their computers, pretending to be cartoon pilots and having fun :)

AND for third of all, yall DO take UNDEFENDED bases, yall dont like to take bases with resistance. this all started with me talking to the bish that was taking the TT bases and your boy vandetta aka vanscrew opening his mouth when it had nothing to do with him. IF i was talking about your squad at that moment i would have made it perfectly clear that i was talking about your squad. THEN van wanted to get his RL involved in the game which in total honesty i could give 2 craps about what he has goin on in RL. Yes, I know I was late on this, I just read it a while ago, and you pissed me off, so I said something about it. I know I wasn't on, and I said that already, so your a little late on that. I would never have said anything if YOU didn't start making assumptions yourself. You assume that we are "skill-less" "squekers" and we "dont like to take bases with resistance". Well, that isn't true. First of all, there is NOTHING wrong with taking an undefended base. Second of all, we do take defended bases. A couple days ago we ran a mission from a CV to a base with ALOT of resistance. We took down the VH, FH's, BH's and the town and took the base. (Wasn't a joker goon but we would have never taken the base if we didn't run the mission to take it.) We do missions like that all the time. So you should stop assuming stuff about our squad unless you actualy know what your talking about instead of throwing out your nonesense about us being skill less squekers ect. And I'll go and fly my cartoon plane whenever I feel like it, not when you give me permission, k? Ok thats all I have to say, I'm done, you guys can believe what you wan't.

Nobody ever once consulted our CO or any one of us, people just reported and called HTC making false accusations. I think this thread should be closed, it really only involves 4-5 people.

well your SQUADIES didn't consult anyone and took it upon themselves to make incorrect assumptions, and this is what the out come was. there was no need to talk to your "CO" due to the fact that this is only a GAME and CO's in a game dont mean crap, it only means that everyone is responsible for themselves. i am the XO of " The Killuminati" and my squad aswers for themselves not as a group and kermit is the CO and he answers for NO ONE. we all are adults in my squad and take responsibility for our actions. maybe your squad should do the same thing.

Well, a one winged C47 with one engine and 1 elevator could 'pwn' me.
As for bombing, half the time my bombs don't even hit the ground (maybe I'm too low when I drop).
In regards to base taking, the last mission I made was with Vals with torpedos for the town and two C47s that were carrying GV supplies so the Wirbelwinds wouldn't run out of ammo. The mission before that, I made a mission of jeeps to clean out panzers and wirbelwinds from a forest around an airfield (that was good times!).
Lastly, in regards to general flying ability, I fly like a blind, deaf man with parkinsons and can't kill time with a sledgehammer and a stopwatch.
(there, thats better... the ego was getting so thick in here, I had to diminish it)

AND for ur info i didn't insult ALL bish, i ONLY insulted the ones that were taking TT bases. if rooks are taking TT bases i say something to them on 200, if nits are doing it i say something on 200 to them. u need to get the whole story before u start anything.

It was not on 200 but country channel, its not the kind of things I enjoy to read in green, whatever the reason (again). These verbal wars have nothing to do ingame, whoever started it is no reason to go on with it, just ignore/squelch (it did work in your case).
There was a time in AH where you didn't have to squelch anybody, even with channel 1 still on.

well taking the TT bases ruins the fun for the gv'ers and the furballers. there are plenty of other bases to take on that map. and as far as resetting the map. why bother. DUDE we have had that map forever now no matter how many times it gets reset its STILL the same one. IF you was one of them involved in taking TT then so be it i guess i was talking to you also and YES i know it was on country channel. so dont tell me u was surprised to see that i switched bish after sayin that. Taking TT bases is part of what the game is about. Nobody has any right to complain about any country taking over TT. It happens every map, and it is a great time getting a foothold on the island and stealing the bases back.

i have been on bish longer than i have been on any side. see there again people are making assumptions before knowing the story and the assumptions are incorrect. AND if you have been playing long enough you would know that i ALWAYS voice my opinion on TT bases, i have done it many many many times. hell i can't even remember how many times but i know its ALOT. but your incorrect assumptions only make you sound like you ONLY read part of the post and decided to post your comments. maybe next time read the WHOLE post before replying :)

Seems like the Jokers never really did have a good rep as far as I can tell. Sounding off here is just lowering their community respect level further. 30 PAGES OF THIS STUFF and it just keeps going.
You have the right to stand up for your squad but you also have to know when to call it quits. Just to many things going against them to recover from and you keep opening yourself up for more attacks.

It happens, because some enjoy ruining the fun for some who only have time for a quick hop in a GV, fighter and want quick action.
It most certainly DOES NOT help a Map reset. I have YET, in the over 6 years of playing this game, seena map REST, while the TT portions have been taken. I am NOT talking about the "Dweeb Island Small Map" either. I'm talking OZKansas, FEsterMA, Donut.

-squad mass .report is completely lame and just goes to show how serious people take this game. I guess .report command is generally an ok thing, but like everything else, some just can't help but abuse it. very weak.
I don't know what the punishment is for getting caught abusing the .report, but I'm getting the idea jokers squad got muted. If that is the case, how childish is it to then get mad at the person who reported your abuse....you should be mad at the guys in the squad who abused it. not to mention how silly and childish all of this is to begin with. ah well, carry on.

Well, folks, we've almost run the string here. We need some volunteers to put in a few collision model complaints, and probably something about a common plane that needs to be perked. Wouldn't hurt to throw in something about CT being due, along with the mandatory "2 weeks" jokes. Didn't notice a sheep reference, but I may have missed it...if there is one, then that's covered too.

It happens, because some enjoy ruining the fun for some who only have time for a quick hop in a GV, fighter and want quick action.
But there are other spawns that can be just as much fun for a short time if that is all you have. True, those bases are closer together than most, but an additional 10 min of flight to go to another base shouldn't change anything. I log in during my lunch hour almost every day ( I work 10 min from my home ) and after feeding the animals I have 30 min to play. I agree that it would be better to do 2 sorties in TT but if that is not possible I go to another base and have just as much fun.

TT is for gv'ers and furballers...there are lots of other bases that the "land grabbers" can take with out ruining the fun for the ppl that like to gv and furball. that is the WHOLE point of me sayin what i did about bish taking TT. its NOT only bish that do it its rooks and nits too. and you better believe i voice my opinion on 200 about it.

I think the point is, TT is a nice set up for folks who don't have tons of time to fly or GV if thats the case, and it's set up where you can find a fight quickly. With the 100s of other bases, it's rather pointless to make that a target for capture if you are into that kind of thing.
If I've worked all evening and have an hour or so late night, it's nice to hop up one of those bases and meet in the middle for a few dogfights. If it's all one color it makes it more difficult and more time is spent looking for the fight then actually being in one.
So when TT gets rolled by the large number country it comes across very much as we're going to take away the fun for those who look for a quick fight. It certainly isn't part of some grand win the war strategy.

Unless it's down to the final bases to win the war, there is no reason for one country to steamroll over that furball area. It's not a matter of your way, my way game play. It's exactly as Guppy describes, that furball/TT area is excelent for the player who has a short period to play after a long day. And kicking out the other countries, "just because it's there, and we can" is completely a greifer move.
That "I'm a paying customer, and you can't tell me what to do" works both ways. Community voice can't make anyone do anything they don't want to, but you can't silence the voice either...other than listening to it :)

I agree with you here Betty. If we had an large island map like the one that wouldn't leave with untakable bases on the three corners it would alow some movement of the gv line but not allow it to be wiped of the map. :aok

Your right not all arenas have a TT or furball area. That's why most of us that want a quick fight log into orange, my guess is that's probably why that arena is the most populated. A lot of the time when I log into the blue arena I have to sit in the tower and watch the map for a while to find a fight. When I finally find that area and up the fight dies about half of the time before I get there. That's not fun for me, it limits my enjoyment of the game. I know if I can get into the orange arena all I have to do is go to TT and I will have all the fights I want.
I'm guessing your fairly new to the game so the win the war aspect is fun for you. Ive been playing these types of games for almost ten years, there was a time that I enjoyed base capture but after awhile it got boring. If you drop enough bombs and capture enough bases it all becomes the same. There is no human behind that toolshed, its not going to avoid your bombs or reverse on you, its just gonna sit there. Now a real live person behind the controls of a fighter is a different story, you never know how that person is gonna react. Its different every single time, that's why I live for the fight. In fact I would rather lose a good fight than get any easy vulch or pick kill. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy a good vulch. There just isn't that sense of accomplishment on a vulch or a pick like you have with a nice long fight that's starts at 10K and ends up in the weeds. The fight is why I'm still here after all of this time, and fights are easy to find at TT. On a good night I can get a few of those types of fights in an hour.
Its pretty safe to say that those of us that like to furball could care less about the war. We are just happy playing air quake over TT and we are doing nothing to limit your enjoyment of the game. There are hundreds of bases outside of TT where you can all have your fun. But why would you want to kill our fun by steamrolling TT??? Does it serve any purpose other than stirring up crap like this thread on the BBS??? You sure don't need those three bases to win the war.

When the maps were first released, and HT didn't have the coading to prevent a base from being captured, the un-written rule was to leave that area for what it was created for ... and the "WINZ TH3 W@rZ" dudes can decimate the rest of the map till they puked ... but no way ... there will always be a sect of "griefers" that will take pride in destroying the fun of others.
Did you ever think that all your fellow countrymen are also effected by that griefer stance ... you basically have said ... screw you and your wants to use that area for what it was designed for ... so you screw them out of enjoying that area ... WTFG !!!
Bottom line ... spin it anyway you want ... taking TT/Furball Island is nothing except selfish griefing and serves no purpose except to grief.

Actually I'm fairly new here ( 6 months or so ) and my understanding of TT/Furball Island is exactly how you explained it Slapshot. I've used it for quick engagements and if I feel like taking bases I do it off the island. Everyone pays their dues and should be able to play the way they see fit. You don't need to take the island to win the war....... :)

Ignorance, in this case, could be excused ... those that take TT/Furball Island, know full well what they are doing and what they want to accomplish ... and that is why it can't be excused ... no matter the excuse they try to spin.
It's simple griefing ... nothing more ... nothing less.

Then your reading and comprehension skills are lacking ... especially comprehension ... in light of the numerous post explaining that TT/Furball areas were designed into the map (by the mapmakers) with the intent to provide an area for those who enjoy getting into quick dogfights and those who enjoy GVing against large numbers of armor on the field of battle.
When the maps were first released, and HT didn't have the coading to prevent a base from being captured, the un-written rule was to leave that area for what it was created for ... and the "WINZ TH3 W@rZ" dudes can decimate the rest of the map till they puked ... but no way ... there will always be a sect of "griefers" that will take pride in destroying the fun of others.
Did you ever think that all your fellow countrymen are also effected by that griefer stance ... you basically have said ... screw you and your wants to use that area for what it was designed for ... so you screw them out of enjoying that area ... WTFG !!!
Bottom line ... spin it anyway you want ... taking TT/Furball Island is nothing except selfish griefing and serves no purpose except to grief.

Yeah, I'm in one of those squads that toolshed a lot but I draw the line on TT/FT and I have always advocated a protected tank town and fighter town but it always falls on deaf ears. HTC has created an experience for all to enjoy their various preferences. It's just that he forgot about the ones who have a preference to ruin the fun of the others who have different preferences in gameplay. I like to GV and some like to just plain fight it out in fighters and nothing is worse than having the area captured by one country or having all the hangers destroyed so nobody can up and fight. It is the anti-play scheme in a game that is meant to be played and enjoyed. Just because one country has done it, we are then faced with another country doing it and everybody looses the moral/ethical ground in following suit. Somebody has to take the high ground say NO, we won't pork the TT/FT area. I guess it's just a dream. :(
