I know. However, there is still a distinction. A block of wood with spikes in it, I'm not sure what type of spikes he meant - but there are types available that will puncture a tire under the weight of a car while still being dull enough not to puncture skin. Like old tyme wood nails that are flat on the end, I know - fallen on those placed in plywood before.
Anyway, having a metal rake laying about the yard and a kid fell on that - negligence maybe but a booby trap? They can puncture tires, got some nice points on 'em.
Now compared to razor blades on a sign...
