Been there, done that. So have my squadies. And you know our squad has been around since '87 so we know and honor comments made by each other.

BTW, when the MA went down the guys also overflowed into the TA. What else can you expect so that argument holds no water.

It would seem you are also beginning to show your true colors. I have stated the facts, no attacks on anyone. I also said it like it was and you wanted to keep the discussion conversational. Now it's beginning to sound like the CT....only on the boards iso the arena. It would seem the tiger can't change its stripes after all.

I wonder if there had to be a vote by the community if AH had to close an arena for the TOD, how many do you think would vote for the CT after reading all this and experiencing it for themselves?

 'Nuff said.

I made no comment about the MA going down Ren, that was TrueKill. Just because I'm squad CO doesn't mean I'm the only voice. Everyone has an opinion and we know what those are like. ;)

What are you talking about? I haven't made an attack on anyone, on the contrary I believe I've been quite civil and open minded.

Lets not get off topic and wonder about 'what ifs'... that doesn't do any good trying to speculate when we are seeking input of those that want to see a change made.

This isn't something that will happen overnight guys, everything takes time. I've read plenty of posts by newbies as well as old school whom seem to be enjoying themselves in the CT as of late.

i LOVE The cherry picking comments.  Most these guys won't fight you, and you HAVE to wait until they jump someone else (generally w/ numbers) and THEN kill them.  Otherwise, they will run, run, run until they have friends/#'s, THEN, MAYBE they will fight if they have all the advantages.

I've had fun in the CT, just not that often.

BTW Damned squad.  One of the oldest, and BEST squads in sims today.  Back in the AW days, y'all were some of my fav. targets to kill.  Pack o' loners now, but they always fly with respect/honor.

(eidt) except for DmdBlaze.  He's a TOTAL DWEEB.

You are right.  The CT itself is not bad at all.  When you get numbers in there, the good guys outnumber the stor...... err jackarsess and the CT experience becomes good.  I was there last night and it was great.  I guess any publicity - good or bad - can be good.  These posts made people go there and try it.  If the numbers stay above 30 or 40, the CT would be great. :aok

Now, that was just one day while a not so popular map was on the MA and after all this 'publicity'.  Keep trying to get the numbers up instead of complaining about the people that posted their responces to  a question.  Numbers is the only chance the CT has in the short term.  We really don;t need an MA with a limited plane set and people, so something else would have to change in the future, but for now, you need numbers.

Had a fun time last night even after the big mission. APDrone, great fight against you in your P-47... I had a real tough time trying to get a bead on you. That 47 can be real trouble if flown correctly. :aok

Thursdays will continue to be the 'big' night in the CT, for those of you that have not participated but are looking for a sample of ToD I'd say right now this is your best bet. And you'll get better frame rates to boot!

The wheels rolled at 10:30pm EST and I see this as the time for future Thursday missions. All in all we spent about an hour or so for the mission with lots of solo runs afterwards. I've got 262 film I'll be sending to True Kill today, he has 152 film and Stream14 has allied film we'll see if we can splice together.

to all who participated, thank you for giving the CT a try. For anyone whom would like to learn axis aircraft I'm in the CT almost every night and you are more than welcome to come wing with me.
