Ack-Ack i could careless what u think, this isnt about goverment aid. I could came with a suit and tie to a interview but when they can get someone else for half the price they got u beat. Thats the point, and it goes right over ur head. I did my papar work and they didnt cover it all, and i still needed books and transportation. It was a nice school out in long island with football and the whole 9. Did well on the entrance exam and since i had no money i figured i would just start in the spring but i still havent found work. I need to cover the other expenses that uncle sam doesnt pick up. My ex girlfriend was goin to a good school butt due to money problems ended up tranferin to a moron school. If its diferent in ur state maybe i should move. Im just tellin the story from here in nyc.
ACK-ACK if u think im a moron or somethin i could truly careless, u dont noe me and i live on the other side of the united states. HOw can u possible now what i deal with every day i get up in the morning. If it was as easy as u say i would be studyin for exams or working. BUt im not. If there was jobs left and right then yea im being a jerk but thats not the case. Fill out 50 applications on the web and in person, talk to people and have people out lookin for jobs for u..... still no job. Then ill do a simple job with a friend, unloadin tiles off a truck, in a 2 and a half hours i made a quick 40 bucks......... i ask the guy if there would be any more jobs later on and he tells me, while today is not a normal business day, i normally get mexicans. The guy starts laughin and gets into his bmw and drives off. I dont mind workin for my money but dam, aint nothin out there. Any other job i get its either a hook up or a temp job, im not doin well with either. A quick meat head job will pay the little expenses, i wont get it when the can get some illegal to do it for less then half. Thats the point, not how i perform during an interview or how i speak to an employer, but the fact that these guys work for peanuts and dont give u a chance to even compete for the job. The last job i worked was a ups temp job during the holidays. Only reason i got the job was the fact that i aced the interview. BUt ur tellin me that im makein excuses and i dont know how to carry myself infront of these people. That seriously steams me. I hav been fightin my whole life to just stay above water but u reach a time where u either lose ur mind or run out of gas. My problem is the fact that these illegal mexicans give employer a different mind set, it goes from best guy for the guy to, the lowest bider.
Speed55 if these illegal mexicans want to try to start a crime wave here in brooklyn it aint goin to work. First sight of a illegal gang in my next of the woods is goin to be trouble for them, we will handle them. The goverment needs to step up. Lazy american and other guys that live off of there labor are goin to fight tooth and nail to keep them. Regardless anythin somethin has to happen.
