Seriously - why is the guy insulting peoples dead family, or the guy saying I hope your first born dies in your arms, or the one letting loose with a torrent of racist bile, not a big deal, but when someone gets muted for referring to someone by their actual ingame name and complains about it, you all jump on your high horses and support the faceless moderators and tell the guy who feels he has been wronged to STFU?

Sure. I agree with the above. The stuff you mentioned has no place in the game. Yet oddly, there was no thread from them pointing out the above. There was nothing on the forum by any of the parties concerned bemoaning the state of verbal abuse in the game.
What did happen was, they got modded slightly, then proceeded to call the mod out on the public channels. HTC really doesn't seem to stand for that. It's well known, and the people involved have been around long enough to know it. We can argue semantics all day, but the intent behind calling someone a 'sack of cheez-its' is fairly obvious, and they got smacked for it.
Then they came to the forums. What I don't understand is, if everything goes spectacularly right when you post something like this on the forums, what will the result be?
