Well, I'm 19 and as I can't say I am serving in the army, or any particular fighting branch, I CAN say I did 4 years in CAP. (Civil Air Patrol). e were based in NJ and our Area of Operations was Sussex, Aeroflex, and Jump Airfeilds for commercial and training Flights. I was in the 2nd Class Group "Fire Hawks". Anyway, that is all I have done in my life. Maybe one day i'll join the actual Army. Anyway, I don't have any ribbons to share or anything but I definatly give a BIG ! To those that have served and still serving overseas. !

Oh and beleive it or not the CAP (Civil Air Patrol) is a part of the Armed Forces. We wear the uniforms, the berets, and we do drills. But our job was home security, National Security. If there was some sort of Air Raid or evacuations stuff we would be in charge of getting civilians out of their homes and to hard Shelters and so forth. Some of you may know of CAP.

I'm also a member of CAP, Airwolf. :)

I don't have any military medals to post, but I'll post the medals of one of my great heros...my grandfather. Marines, 1944-1963. They won't be in any order.

Distinguished Flying Cross
Air Medal (3 times)
American Campaign Medal
WWII Victory Medal
WWII Army of Occupation Medal
American Defense Service Medal
Korean Service Medal
Several others I cannot recall off-hand.

Expert badges in rifle and pistol
Presidential unit citation
