I think that the joke works because so many "liberals" and democrats all feel that the solution to freedom is banning things in order to make people get along and depending on someone else to take care of their responsibilities.

I would think a mullet would tend to limit the sun's rays ability to burn  one's neck, so having a mullet and a red neck would be virtually impossible.

:lol good point.
Do not attribute to malice what can be easily explained by incompetence, fear, ignorance or stupidity, because there are millions more garden variety idiots walking around in the world than there are blackhearted Machiavellis.

Incedentally, I think it's some sort of trick question, because everyone knows no self-respecting Republican would carry a Glock.  They all have 1911's or S&W's or other "manly" guns, don't they?

Oh,and I wonder how you're supposed to immediately know that the bad guy is an "Islamic Terrorist" and not just a typical nutjob with a knife.  Do terrorists carry big signs on their backs like samurai used to?

Take the gun out of the equation and make it so the terrorist just has his fists. Same results I think.

You mean Nash will still get his panties in a bunch? Surely removing the gun will at least make Beetle happy anyway.

I am loving this thread,  nash shows again just what he is, and many are becoming aware of who and what he is.  Thanks nash.

Additionally, we have a woman assaulting alcoholic weighing in and people here have long ago figured him out and learned to ignore him.

Life is so good at times like this.   :D

I'm confused again. Didn't we come to the conclusion in another thread that we "do not have a right to not be offended?"

not true, people have testified that even when faced with certain death they would not fight back. They have said that they could not kill even to save their own life.

Just about the only person I can attribute that kind of behavior to would be that guy who said he would "Turn the other cheek" or something like that.

He also said something about if you didn't have a sword to go sell your cloak and buy a sword. He never expected anyone but himself to suffer the way he did without fighting back.

An awful lot of Jews walked like sheep to the slaughter without resisting, knowing they were about to die during WW2 in concentration camps.  Read the story of Babi Yar, and so many others where there was no resistance.  Granted, resisting would have been futile, and this isn't the same as someone given the chance of defending themselves or not in a fair situation, but history and our current society is full of examples of people not resisting.  Luckily, there are more stories of those who had the will, strenght and determination to fight back, even in the knowledge that they would die, but at least die fighting.
