I will admit, I have dine this ONCE, because I was soo pissed at the guy, and wanted to know what would happen, but I think he ended sortie before my shots hit, Note this was within my first week of AH. I hadnt shot the plane down, but I heard the range, and I was pissed at the guy (As were we all). Nontheless, I agree that this is bad behavior. I am not being a hipocrit, I am not doing this ever again.

I have met many a******* in life who were all polite and stuff certian times, but all they ended up being is like a shady used car salesman. personally I have met more of those people in life than what you describe.

I shot chutes because that's what I'd have done in the war- make sure as many of those bastages as I could hit never flew another sortie after I shot them down.

I guess I also did it for the cool pop and the occasional shrieking afterwards.

it has happened to me alot... i dont kill the silk unless they are bailing over a base that we are trying to capture and im in a GV of some sort.. some folks know that when you bail over your base while it is under attack you can land and defend the map room with your 45... granted you will only be successful for a little while, sometimes a little while is all you need until back up arrives.

HTC needs to add more chute killing features.

I wish you could hit them with your prop and then have the blood and meaty remains get splattered all over your plane.

There is no more noble act you can do in AH than spare someone the long ride down in a chute.

Whoever shot you down is a bastard. If he isn't a bastard, ask him if he's interested in joining.

Once upon a time, a guy dangling from a chute violated my sister.  I've been blowing up bailers ever since.

PS...I've got pics of the violation for sale to anyone who's interested.

I cry whenever I see a chute get shot.  Sometimes I'll tell the shooter how sad it made me feel on VOX, and we discuss our feelings about chute shooting.  We usually end up with a better understanding of each other.

I even shoot chutes in IL2 just to keep in practice.
There they went to the trouble to show the chute deflating and having the pilot thunder down to his death.
Think they ment to have you shoot the chutes?

Killing other pilots in thier chutes was the probably the norm in WW2. So of course its in the game.

When someone bails from their aircraft in a dogfight, they drop below it, obviously. So to get guns on a chute, you have to burn more E to do so, making you vulnerable to other attackers.
So really, if you shoot a chute, you're showing just how good a pilot you are -- that you can afford to take this risk, and you're telling the guy under canopy just how much you care.
Plus, if that chute guy takes it the wrong way, only good things can happen. He may grab the nearest Spit and charge back to challenge you again, allowing you to repeat the demonstration. Or he might just ***** about in on channel 1, which does you a better service than the kill buffer ever did.

Gentlemen shoot chutes.

all this talk of chute shooting, i dont remember the last time i seen one, i shot somethin down and all i see is it fall all the way to the ground, and im talkin one im 10 15k up. i never seen anyone bail. i prob wouldnt shot it anyway, waste of ammo and if we are in the middle of no where (where i catch alot of porkers)he'll just drive himself nuts floating slowly to the ground. I rather let him torture him self then have him curse my name, but he's prob doin that anyway since i killed him.

.ef

You dont even have to deploy chute, and it bails you succesfully. That needs to be fixed by the way.
