More like ... they can't play without having their late war uber monsters ... if they were to fly the plane sets in the EW or MW they would get their arses handed to them because ...

a) They really can't fight

b) They can't run

Mega Squads DON'T exist.

There are some squads with similar names who like to fly together, each of which are under the 32 player limit.

I cant imagine AH2 limiting our freedom to choose who we fly with.

Sim... I can't believe you just had the nerve to actually say that. :huh

They have almost the exact same squad name.
They have the exact same rules.
They fly as 1 herd.
They say they're a mega-squad.

Don't play rules lawyer & semantics to cover the fact that they are willfully, and intentionally playing against the spirit of the rules.

That's exactly why sides don't get evened up and people whine.

Really? We didn't just get population caps with the intention of breaking the current methods of play and distributing the populations across arenas? Isn't this entire thread about people whining because they can't go play in the arena they want?

MW was the bomb last night ... plenty of fights ... plenty of capture attempts (successful and foiled). Massive numbers does not mean better gameplay. I played in AH1 when 250 people in the MA was unbelievable and was thought that it would be a number that would never be surpassed ... yet we all still managed to have fun.

All these posts about ... "We can only play in the LW arena" just tells me that there are some that can't do without their late war uber monsters and the idea of trying to accomplish their same tasks in EW or MW planes is way to hard for them.

MW has P-38s - P-47s - F4Us - La-5 - 109s - 190s - Spits ... its just that the late war versions are not available ... and when each encounters the other ... their usually is no option to "run" ... I think that is what scares people.

Some of the BKs along with AKDogg even took a base  :O ... with ... ya ready for this ... in GVs ... :O :O

If you don't want to play in the EW or MW ... then don't ... but please don't try and justify your choice because of numbers and/or available planes.

Why not? Every argument you put forth revolves around some uber late war ride and running when you talk about the LW. Wouldn't the same apply to you when it comes to the LW, if you don't like it then why discuss it and at every chance try to put down anyone who enjoys it in there.

edit: I was in EW for an hour last night...went to the low side and flew around for 20 minutes looking for someone...anyone...to have one of those great white knuckle fights, found a 38 that wanted to play the rope game for 20 minutes then he left. I logged and went to LW...

OH my Gosh!   SlapShot.  I just can't wait to see how your PR guy (Laz) puts his spin on this revelation.  

I personally love the MW arena and don't care for the LW at all and don't go there except on squad nights.

which is exactly the reason why i cancelled my subscription when HTC made the change. LW being full all the time proves the point I made about the change won't work.

Hammy, I will tell you that I have had no problems getting into LW1 when I feel like it. Since they upped the cap in there to 390 it has made it alot easier for me to get in....I'm on the East Coast US and usually log in around 7pm est...not sure about your times available though.

Just thought you might like to know.

It was the change in general rather than the arena cap that forced me to quit.

LW being full all the time proves that that's the way 90% of people wanna play, anything else is just HTC trying to "force" people to play a different way.

The jury is still out on the what appears to be an inflated number of 90% ... Overlag is still trying to ferret out his resources that can back that number up ... or is it just a case of making up a number that attempts to prove one's point in a debate ... I pick the latter.

Why not raise the cap to 750 for all three arenas for one full tour… If all of the arenas would be available to everyone, after the tour a clearer picture would be available.
