I get a few Lock Ups when I'm shot down while voice comms are real busy
Maybe 3 times last week

Sorry, i play with a crappy PIII600 and 32Mb nVidia and I've had less than a dozen lockups in the two months I've been playing.  (Yeah, the tailslide thing seems to do it for me alot....I'm thinking "floating point"?)

I just think of it this way, when the damned things locks up, that's just an excuse to stop playing and get smoe sleep rather than realize after my 45th dive bombing run of the night that it's 2am and I have to work in the morning.

Jesus people... listen to me... it doesn't matter about any of your smart bellybutton comments---- none are relevant.  I have had the same hardware for the past 6 months with no problems, ever. Period.  Now, nothing but problems.  That's it... bottom line.  The game just stopped working by CTD all the time.  I don't care what you all think---- I want someone from HTC to fix the problems.  Go back to patch 3.  That will solve my problem.

Until The Last Patch I Would Experiance Total System Freeze Maybe 1 Every Hour, Sometimes More Often.

After The Last Patch Havent Got A System Freeze Yet (Knock On Wood).  Although Now I Do Get CTD's On Occaision So I would Say The Problem Is Being Worked On, And Things Are Getting Better.

I Do However Notice That They Tend To Be Worse On Days That The Server Ping Is Higher Than It Should Be, Making Me Think It Could Be A Communication Problem Between The Server And The MANY People Playing.

Hang In There It Should Get Nothing But Better, HiTech Does Address These Issues Pretty Well, Just May Not Be As Instant As We All Would Like.

 But Think Of This.    How Good Is The Support Here Compaired To Any Other Online Sim You May Have Played?  These Guys Are More Interactive Than Any Other Game Online I Have Played.

 So I Have No Doubt In Time These Issues Will Be Resolved,  Just In Time For The Next Round Of Bugs To Drive Us All Nuts.

First I like to remind Pand / Justin  here to Look at his internet connection .... ISP's Routing to the arena ,  Get Ping Plotter and check your connection. (Your probly on a 56k dial up)

For this is very important when trying to figure out if its the game/ htc's server/ your pc/connection.

I myself had alot of lockups/ ctds befor the newest patch 1.104
Now I havent had a single one .

Now I'm on my same ip # and  700kbps dsl connection .

   I believe most of this bug has been addressed in the fastest manor possiable out of the Hard working crew at HTC .

So Grow up, stop shouting , and finish testing the conditions on your end !!!

Hi Pand,

I think what everyone is trying to say, is that something was changed within the code that now disagrees with your system. If HTC is to fix your problem, they will likely need to know your full system specs in order to narrow down which part of the code is being affected. Nobody is saying that you're to blame, or are imagining the problem. It's also irrelevant that you've been playing for 3 years without problems, as the patch is only a couple weeks old (and is possibly the underlying problem).

I have a friend at work that I got to join back when it was still 30$ per month.  He happily flies any niki spit or uber plane of the month for a mere 10 hours a month at the utmost. He has been a sastified customer and considered AH's price worth it for the enjoyment he gets for his very few hours of online play.

Two days ago he canceled his account of almost a year despite my urging to ride it out.  He didn't apreciate being the test subjected to the patches. I personaly think he's jumping to rash judgment, but i guess if you only have 10 hours a month to play, you wouldnt apreciate it much to get ctd's.

I am not banging HTC, just telling a personal story.
