My my my but the whining is INTENSE these days. :lol

From the High Master of Mindless ch200 Whine Posts. :lol You squelch me because a.) I post responses to your usual mindless prattle, b.) I poke holes in your poor logic, and c.) my responses disrupt the flow of your endless whining and chest beating.
"He's just an e-fighter. He always... always comes into the merge with more energy...without it he's nothing. That's why he beat me and <fill-in-the bank> during our duels! Oh....and the engine off stuff is stupid (even if it does work)."
So I guess we now need to change the rules for 1v1 duels to ensure that everyone merges at the same speed? Maybe you should have been WEPing all the way to the merge? I don't know how to respond to this or help you. :headscratch:

Actually, I was above you at the time. You were in the process of overshooting when you augered. Look at the film, O' dogfighting goddess! And for the record....I was the 110 surrounded in a "Sea of Red" at the time, not you. Might want to clarify that for your bud. My use of the term "pick" was by mistake. Actually, I was trying to slow down to land or (more likely) ditch. I was indeed using the field ack to cover me during this time. Given the large number of red guys over the field I figured my chances of success were very low. *shrug* It happens....

The funny thing is, despite what some players think recently, it doesn't work in AH like they think it does. It's like the old AH urban myth that trimming full up elevator will make you turn tighter.

Who am I ? just a player who plays a game with my squadmates we have a great time flying , I fly with respect towards others looking for that good one versus one fight, I keep quiet on 200 like I said I play this game respectfully always have since 2003 ....

Chopping throttle and using some slip will be just as effective in shedding E to force the over shoot, more effective than shutting down the engine and then turning it back on. It is also a desperation move.
When AH first came out and until it was fixed (around 2001 or so) it was used a lot because there was no penalty to doing it but that was ceased to be when the engine start up was changed to stop such gamey tactics. Like I said, it's just another myth that only really works in the eye of the beholder.

If you watch some films and look at graphs, you can tell WEP isn't the reason some people have more speed into a merge. For example the difference between normal power and wep in a KI43 is 10 mph. When the difference is 40mph...something else is a work.

Yea I don't see where he got that from my post...
In a fight where you can dive in at icon range(5k merge) a knowledge of a plane and general ACM can give you an upper hand at the merge E wise. But some planes you don't want to go too fast or else you lose too much manuever room. I try to not merge faster then 380 mph because the Difference in altitude I can gain going faster doesn't get me the same advantages I will get working angles at 380.

From what I've read in old posts this actually worked in an early version of Aces High.
Now the only advantage to trimming up is keeping a scaled stick closer to center for finer input.

The KI43 example can be found here....notice the speed in the first fight. Now by the wiki the difference if at max speed should only be 10 MPH....not 40.
So either the wiki is off, flight model is off, wind is turned on in the DA or foul play.
This being something I've been interested in since surfinn cheated against me and told dolby.....I watch DA films for more then just trying to perfect my flying.

yes it did. torque was also not modeled as strong in IL2..... at least it wasn't in the early patches... I know things have changed with the later 4.1x patches (ie post-IL2 1946).

If that's his reason, decreasing throttle achieves the same thing without the penalty of the 1-2 second engine start up delay. Quite frankly, IMO it's rather stupid to turn off your engine if you're trying to rope someone.

According to him he uses it to do a hammerhead easily cause there's virtually no torque, and that doing an actual hammerhead in AH is impossible with the torque modeling here while the engine is on.

Actually a engine off is not producing thrust. The props keep turning because of the relative wind pushing against it causing it to continue to turn which causes drag. You did say idle engine which is different than shutting off a engine which is what I believe the topic was about.

An engine at idle produces thrust. Try sitting in a Mustang at idle without the brakes on. It will roll--very fast if allowed.
We are discussing the difference between idle and off in regard to both thrust and torque. The engine off trick is primarily meant to address torque, not thrust. Whether or not it actually works is best left to gamers with more experience than I possess.

I know exactly what you are stating, Junky....and at least you are directly stating it....but your statement isn't an acceptable substitute.
Please allow Kappa and/or the other parties make a direct statement that cheating or underhanded tactics were used. It is also fine if they acknowledge agreement with your assessment and consider your opinion as a suitable proxy. Thanks. :salute

I don't think I stated in any of my statements a statement that's anywhere close to what you just stated. My only statement was that your petitioning for more statements to clarify other statements was silly, since you stated to Junky that you knew what he meant when he stated what he stated.

Assume that no cheating or bending of rules was employed: If you, Kappa, Triton and Junky (all very skilled AH pilots, no one is disputing that) are unsure how the E advantage was gained....why wouldn't that be indicative of the pilot's skill?
Is it because you and the others think it's probably something 'gamey' like turning the engine off?

The KI43 example can be found here....notice the speed in the first fight. Now by the wiki the difference if at max speed should only be 10 MPH....not 40.
So either the wiki is off, flight model is off, wind is turned on in the DA or foul play.

were these fights not filmed from take off? if not, then why not because it would surely remove any doubt at all wouldnt it? if all combatants are in level flight and full power or WEP to the merge I would be a little bit curious to as to why just one plane is 30 to 40 miles an hour faster..

I used to do it in the Stuka, well, at least the breaking off the landing gear part. It actually does net you a little bit of more speed and maneuverability in that slow flying coffin.

Funny you should jump in Kruel....I was suspicious of our duels, 7 fights every time we hit icon range you had about 50 MPH more then me.
Didn't make a difference in the end.
Here's my next question so Fulcrum and Kruel don't have to worry that their turnless leader isn't being called out for cheating. If a player doesn't use WEP to get to icon range in the DA is he going to reach his max speed prior to merge? It's a bout a half sector to where most fights take place, I would assume so but I have not had the time to test this,(Hell most of my posts here come when I'm sitting on the crapper, go figure the grammar is disgusting) if so it changes dueling for me completely.
See my mindset is save my wep until ICON range so I have it when I need it in the fight....but boosting to the fight I won't need it as much because I should have an E advantage and or the other guy is going to run out when I do so it doesn't matter.
Fulcrum is making this out to be more then it really is, I could care less after the surfinn incident because now I feel if someone thinks they need to cheat to beat me, I must be pretty good.

2.) His E advantage at merge could only be because he employed underhanded tactics.
3.) It is the opinion of yourself, Junky and Kappa, three experienced and skilled cartoon pilots, that there is simply no other way to obtain that significant a difference in E regardless of the plane...but especially in the case of the Ki43 and it's 'three-legged hamster' engine.
4.) Thus the losses incurred by the two of you are, at best, questionable.

I explained all this to TC when I was unilaterally kicked by Kruel for standing on principle, but he (TC) had other ideas due to his detached leadership style.

Meanwhile, I have gone from 0.6:1 in my first tour to 2.52:1 (on a pace of almost 4:1 at the end of last tour) in part due to what I learned from Skyyr et. al. (SFox, Messiah, DrDeathx, etc.). :)
(Oh, and the F4U-4 sucks big time. Wobbly, fuel guzzling, overrated POS. Bleh. Anyone who whines about being killed by that brick should be banned along with anyone who brags over killing one. Some inside baseball here.)

The simple truth is that he came in higher than the agreed upon merge altitude and then right before icon range, he dove to the deck to gain some extra speed so he'd have the energy advantage on the merge. You know it, he knows and we know it.

I'm sure you feel good to stand up for your squadie on his behalf, but I'm not sure you even understand how he was able to get this speed advantage and are making blind accusations on his part because you are his squad member.

The simple truth is that he came in higher than the agreed upon merge altitude and then right before icon range, he dove to the deck to gain some extra speed so he'd have the energy advantage on the merge. You know it, he knows and we know it.

Correction, sir. I've made no "blind" accusations. I've seen the film from Skyyr's perspective. The only "blind" accusations made did not originate with me. Iko dueled me one time last night (he won) when I didn't avoid going HO.
He pushed for a deck merge and I said "5k" and we merged a bit later.
He dove under me slightly and I flew straight and then pulled into a zoom climb and try to keep top position and more energy but I noticed him make a complete 180 and and then start to close so I quickly jumped into a turn fight from a serious disadvantage.
I suspect he had busted altitude for the advantage in energy.

The reason I had to turn before the merge is that I had taken off before him and flew away from his base to allow him altitude and airspeed.

He got a proxy on her and went off the rails much like he's done to her numerous times via PMs and such and I guess some how tried to twist this around to involve the self proclaimed Aces of Aces. Now we get post after post of his uncomfortably odd vicarious living through his "friends" accompanied with limp wristed Muppet bashing. ( we are a fragile bunch you know) The bottom line is this creep has serious issues with this Pepprr fixation and is probably a few steps from a involuntary mental health commitment. Having seen some of the screen shots of PMs that Fulcrum has sent Pepprr in recent history, I find it extremely strange that he would start a thread bringing attention to this, when many of said PMs are obviously and plainly using language against the terms of service of his AH account, as well as the rules of the game and the bbs - Constant personal insults over cartoon deaths, and other such nonsense.
One would think that the very last thing Ful-storer would want is HTC to start going through the logs and isolating all the PMs he's sent Peppr over the last couple of years, as I hear War Thunder isn't all that much fun.

It's amazing to me that, by now, you haven't figured out that we record everything in game, both for analytical and LuL purposes (your should have a rough estimate of how many times you have died to us vs how many times you have killed us)

Not hypocrisy at all. I know I picked him three times in a row coming off the field. I know the other fights were 1v1 and he lost. I know that he has killed me also.
I never claimed anything to the contrary. I know I die a LOT because of the way I fly, BUT...I am here to have fun and enjoy myself, I ENJOY getting into the middle of
the cons and try to kill my way out...or at least see how long it takes 4 or 5 to kill me...lol
The only reason I saved the one film is because I killed him three times in one sortie...someone told me to save it..lol I record
every flight but don't save them, I automatically hit cancel when I end sortie...habit. Skyyr's recent films prompted me to poke a little fun...that is all. :)
And I am sorry, I am not a computer geek or a film editor. All I did was stick them together and add some music. I had to cut out a bit of his running (extending)
in the last fight or second last fight because it was too long for the music. :aok

Most of the videos are directed at people who complain, at people who think they way they fly should be the way we should fly. Anything outside the norm to them is wrong and never works, yet here is a video of them dying to it.
Even the engine cutting thing which is/was ridiculed for so long, we have more and more film of people doing it (even some in your squad)
Most of it would probably go away if people just accepted the fact that if something works for someone, the more power to them.
Also if accepted that, everyone HOs, "picks", "gangs", vulches and quits whining about it. (Satan will have a Christmas party before this one, so not holding my breath.)

Not hypocrisy at all. I know I picked him three times in a row coming off the field. I know the other fights were 1v1 and he lost. I know that he has killed me also.
I never claimed anything to the contrary. I know I die a LOT because of the way I fly, BUT...I am here to have fun and enjoy myself, I ENJOY getting into the middle of
the cons and try to kill my way out...or at least see how long it takes 4 or 5 to kill me...lol
The only reason I saved the one film is because I killed him three times in one sortie...someone told me to save it..lol I record
every flight but don't save them, I automatically hit cancel when I end sortie...habit. Skyyr's recent films prompted me to poke a little fun...that is all. :)
And I am sorry, I am not a computer geek or a film editor. All I did was stick them together and add some music. I had to cut out a bit of his running (extending)
in the last fight or second last fight because it was too long for the music. :aok
There were 5 kills total, the last one was a shortened version of a 1v1 Spit turn fighting a TA after diving on him, in which he does extend (and turns back into you ergo not running home), from May (lol?) it's stupid to tell someone in a TA to hold a sustained turn fight vs a Spit.
The rest of the kills were furball kills, meh.
My point is if you have fun flying your way great, we have met nothing but disdain for flying our way...hence the videos. We can have discussions about why we think something works or doesn't, but when the response is "Hurrr, hurrr, it just doesnt you suck hurrr. Hurrr" well then you get a video showing you it does.(ie engine cutting to hammerhead more quickly and controllably than with idle throttle. If it works for us, more power to us no? If we ENJOY doing it, why not right? Just like you Enjoy being in a furball, we all have our definition of fun, and none is wrong because they all subjective.

I'm gonna have to be on peppers side here by saying that fulcrum sparked this tango with this thread. And he has insisted on doing his best to publically humiliate anyone who intervenes with the topic of this thread to their defense. A thread which ultimately attacks multiple players in the community. One should surely expect backfire with such a thread. I have seen these post and PMs pepprr is referring to. She wouldn't need to make up such nonsense if this wasn't true, and there is little defense fulcrum or any damned member can say that would discredit what has been said to her.
And yes, skyyr is nothing but a bully. He post videos of fights in the MA, let's say lazers fights for example, and claims his greatness, yet didn't show him dying the other 5-6 times to lazer. He did the same with vids about me and other non Muppet members in the MA. So he disgraces and disrespects other pilots in the game to make himself look "good" on the internet. Pepprrs video was a fine example of the type films skyyr makes so I'm glad its out there for everyone to see he gets killed by a girl. Skyyr has no class, respect, or dignity, so isn't it funny to see how we can make videos too of him getting owned and saying haha.

You know what was said. Perhaps not a big deal in the grand scheme, but enough to show the pattern of contempt by some in the squad... "They were just joking." That's probably the ejection handle. In any event, it is a game. Hatchets should be buried, preferably not in anyone's virtual forehead.

Did I publicly humiliate people who intervene to their defense? I'm sorry, but how did I do that? By asking them to validate their claims that Skyrr cheats? By asking them to review a few films and tell me where he cheated? By responding to hearsay and innuendo? Oh please. Had the positions been reversed you are telling me certain members of your squad wouldn't have called people out? Do you really want to take that postion, knowing how easy it would be to refute it?
That's why we throw the hypocrisy word out so much: It's OK if you do it, but not if we do. It's OK to take cracks at how we play the game, but not vice versa.

Skyyr is Skyyr. He's no worse than Kappa, Grizz or other players of a similar ilk who all do the samn damn things to varying degrees. YOU do similar things on 200, Violator. How many times have I seen you complain publicly about being ganged or it "taking 5 of you to bring me down" on 200? You think that's different? Not in any way when you boil it down to the bare metal: Everyone downplays their losses, lapses in SA, and other failures at one point or another. Anyone who says otherwise isn't being honest.

Consider your source Pepprr, Vraciu is to us what Fulcrum is to you except we record everything. Vraciu so embraced talking trash about everyone that we had to tell him to calm down. He relished taking about you specifically, and I believe one of last incidents that led to his removal from our squad was when you landed some kills and he just attacked you out of the blue and unprovoked. Once he was removed like a scorned ex girlfriend he proceeded to turn his unfiltered wrath towards us. To save face he apologized and proceeded to try and divulge as many "secrets" (lol) of us that he could. So did Fulcrum insult you in public? Or was this about a rumor you heard from someone who is emotionally unstable (this I have proof of)
Vraciu, I have some conversations you had with Fess recorded, these are at best hilarious, at worst sad and completely bizarre, yet for all the mudslinging you are trying to do, we have never made these public..talk about uncalled for.
I have no problem with Vraciu. He and I got off on the wrong foot yes, we called each other a few bad names. The circumstances around that were all leading back to fulcrum dueling bear that night. He apologized on 200 and in pm for what was said and so did I. He has also apologized further and since has not said anything else to me to make me question that apology, I have no problem with him. I have not known him to outright lie or be emotionally unstable like others have, but I don`t know him that well either...I base my opinion on what I know of him. :)

We just call it like we see it. Most of us have been playing for years. Most of us know all the tricks and niches to enhance fighter performance in a duel. Just because the video doesn't show him taking off, does not delude the fact that somehow he came in 40 knots faster. Since you cannot tell us the methods he used to gain this "advantage" without going above the alt limit, the whole arguement is a fallacy related to what we can only view in this film and how to interpret it. Without a valid tactical response to this speed difference, we can only assume he went above the limit. This is based on a lot of experience from dueling and practice. We still have not read one reply that states a solid response to this inquiry.
Kappa and Grizz are not even close to skyyr's belittling, disrespect, and lack of integrity he portrays on AH. That's why nobody likes skyyr. Plus skyyr isn't even close to being as good as grizz or kappa in this game. Kappa and grizz dont have to degrade players in AH to prove their abilities, nor are even close to the level of narrissism that skyyr has. I have no clue how you could even compare these 2 with skyyr, and I know many players who would agree.
As far as I'm concerned, yeah I talk crap on 200 sometimes I'm the heat of the moment. Notice I never say anyone's names nor do I intend to call anyone out with personal insults. I just say it took 5 people to kill me cuz I think its sad and I wanted to state it openly. I don't have to make uyoutube vids to prove I can get kills on people and I at least commend people with good fights and a (S) if they earned it. So no, I would not compare my smack talk with skyyrs level of disrespect to the overall community.

I was guilty of that to a fault. Thank gawd for my new squadron. Talk about the proper perspective. My previous association was toxic, as you can see. Now, I can actually tolerate all of it because I fly with guys who have fun no matter the circumstances.
I am also no longer damned if I do or damned if I don't. That's never a fun spot--being wrong no matter what.

Don't let him fool you. I called out Mr. YouTube in private about his trashtalk hypocrisy. Via private message. And I flat out said, "If this gets me kicked out of your little flying club so be it." He ran to mamma Kruel who booted me over it and then tried to backspin it into something else.
They had no clue about my history with you, nor did they care to ask. In any event, TC was the one who squawked, not anyone in The Damned (2), and it has magically evolved into a post-dated excuse for my "demise" after my ultimatum was delivered.
The hilarity of these guys getting mad at someone over 200 smack talk is too rich.
I have no heartburn with them over the past. I am a forgiving person by nature. Going forward I have 200 detuned and will not see their taunts of players, reducing my stomach acid level significantly. I play for fun and in the hope of improving. Hopefully they do the same.
I don't bother them and so far they haven't bothered me--much.
I am happy to leave it that way.
Looking forward to the day I have the skill to take them on in the MA on equal terms. That will be a film worth posting. :aok

Fulcrum, I haven't watched them...so Asterix removed from that fight but all others remain because of the iko fight...not time we duel I won't be going alone I'll ask a sqaudy to watch from his side. (And like I've already asked but he won't respond to a rebuttal) says I'm worthless. Well maybe but I 7-0 kruel after being back in game after a near year off...the same night Skyyr and I went at it.....so his butt buddy and you are both worthless in his eyes....just his bait

Gasp a year off? I haven't played a full year yet, this was in June, and it was the first "official" duel I had with anyone, ever. I think I have improved since then, we can go again sweetie.
