I Personally hope when HTC finally throws in the towel, Hitech will package the client and single server software to be sold as is with no support on steam for $60+ this would allow him to discontinue the subscription service bring down the server(s) and still make money on the game with little or no effort.

You're implying that people will pay money for a desktop game with no online interaction and be profitable?

No I'm implying that If HTC wants to make money on the game after "Retirement" They can package the game with Client side 16 or 32 player H2H and with the software for a single instance stand alone server software that would let you run your own server limited by your own hardware independent from the client.

Basically for the price of a new AAA game you get the game client with H2H and the option to join a stand alone server as well as an installer for a separate single stand alone server instance. But if you want a 500 man arena you better have the hardware to support it.

I'm also suggesting the game could be sold on Steam as is with no support. Any sale that makes it past the return time would be pure profit.

For the community this would be a much better option than selling the IP to a 3rd party like EA.

Thanks for that, sir. Yeah, I had a real brain fart because I had seen topics like this over 20 years ago and remember Skuzzy sharing IP information. I'm running the current address just now from the Philippines, and it's a wonder I can play at all. There are times it's absolutely atrocious and unplayable- sometimes packet loss originating here, sometimes Stateside.

The fossil record will always be incomplete or mislabeled.  All evidence of an advanced civilization would be erased over time especially across 65 mya.  Possibly, an artifact comprised of a unique metallic structure would unleash new insight on the long ago past.

That civilization could have developed space flight capability.  In the future, manned missions to the Moon and Mars could uncover that Saurian colonization. 

Furthermore, the colonists might have been the only survivors when the asteroid hit Earth 65 mya.  They might have built generational ships and left the solar system.  One day, they might return and find a bunch of mammals squatting on the planet.

Ot, they might be here already and are secretly behind the fast-food industry plus sweet food to fatten us up for future culinary needs.

Load the game up, on the arena selection screen highlight the MA, then click the "ping details" button below. Across the top of the swing out page it says the IP address.

MA is 47.190.119.207

Thanks I thought the new one started with 47 or 49.
